Diver’s instruction, rules of using a wetsuit

You love diving and learned about it at first hand? Then you must have all the equipment that costs quite a sum of money. Do you want your equipment to serve you as long as possible? Then it is your job to exploit it properly: follow the service manual, check the wetsuit for defects regularly, pack all the equipment elements carefully, do not forget to rinse and dry everything after employment. Before diving

Closely examine your wetsuit – there has to be no mechanical defects. Collapsed seams frequently part and it is unacceptable. It is better to cover zips with wax. Fractures on a dry suit found during a regular check can be the reason for a leak at the time of diving.

Mending of a diving wetsuit is possible but it can be done only by a professional. Check wetsuit valves: if you find leaks, use patches. All these activities are time consuming that is why it is important to check the equipment in advance, and not before the actual diving.

After diving

Rinse your wetsuit with warm water using a special shampoo (it protects the neoprene and protects color brightness) or in a gentle mode of washing machine. Carefully wring the wetsuit and wait till it dries. Proper washing, drying and regular checking will help you prevent many problems.

Peculiarities of diver’s certification

To learn the art of underwater diving it is necessary to finish the diving training courses. At the end of the training course, no matter what form or length it is (it can be a full program, consisting of theory, practice in the swimming pool and in the open water or a trial introductory scuba diving lesson), a diver receives a certificate. A little history

Diving appeared in Russia in 1995 and at this time first training centers and notion of certification came along. Certificate of aqualunger that were given in USSR are no longer valid. Where to learn and get certified?

Nowadays there are more than 20 established certificatory organizations in the world, whose certificates theoretically are accepted all over the world. All diving centers belong to somebody and work by their own rules. That is exactly why no one can guarantee that your certification will be 100 % accepted it is better to be ready for that. By the way people who have a plunger or military training cannot do recreational diving without preparatory training. Scuba diving is totally different it has its own peculiarities.
